St. Davids

... is a city, parish and community in Pembrokeshire, in south–west Wales. With a population of 1,841 at the 2011 census, it is Britain's smallest city in terms of both size and population.

St. Davids is the de facto ecclesiastical capital of Wales. It's the final resting place of Wales's patron saint, who was also born nearby. The Ordnance Survey includes the apostrophe in the name of the city, but the City Council leaves it out – and so does Pembrokeshire County Council's Tourism Department. Wikipedia leaves it out in the title of its page, but gives "St. David's" as an alternative spelling. You pays your money ...
